ABOUT ME

Little disclaimer: It is difficult (actually almost impossible!) to assess pain/dysfunction without verbal and physical examination, so please make sure that you check with your physiotherapist or GP if you have any  abnormal symptoms that may affect your ability to safely carry out any exercise program. My advice, like all general advice, does not substitute an individual pilates/physical assessment with a physiotherapist qualified to do so.

Hi! I'm Sarah and I love all things exercise!

I'm a Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor and I love to see people enjoying exercise. I use pilates not only as a fantastically fun way to improve strength and flexibility, but also as a way to improve and remove all sorts of soft tissue or joint related pain. I have worked and travelled with various sporting teams, primarily Australian Rules Football (AFL) and am aiming to complete my Masters degree to become a Sports Titled Physio in the coming years. I've completed two pilates certifications, the first comprising all repertoire: Mat; Reformer; Cadillac/Trapeze; Wunda Chair; Foam Roller; Fitball; Pilates Circle and Spinal Corrector. The second course became more specific and explored the different uses of this pilates repertoire to treat various pathologies and pain patterns. So yes, I'm a bit of a nerd for all things physio! I hope you enjoy my page and learn something along the way :)
